I have a heavy wrought iron gate in Mililani that broke off its hinges. I called all around to see who actually works on wrought iron. First and foremost, iron workers are hard to find. Secondly, this is considered a small job so making an appointment takes forever.

Mike responded immediately. He came out when he was supposed to, and rewelded my hinges in no time. His fee was beyond reasonable.

To top it off, he noted my gate swung and rubbed against the cement. No fault of his, but something I had a problem with for ten years. He came back two days later and grinded down my cement to allow better gate movement at no charge! Who does that? Well Mike does. Wow.

Highly recommend. Wish I had more wrought iron stuff for him to work on.

Mike and the guys at Fablab808 came all the way to Pensacola, FL and installed this epic swinging door for the grand opening of our 9th Ave. location. 12 years later this door is still the talk of the shop! Thanks for the great work guys!

Rarely are my expectations exceeded by the results, but with FabLab Architectural Metal Works they were across the board. Mike, the boss/contact was fun and interesting to talk with as he made rails seem more interesting than black holes. The rail colors and our choice, champagne blended with our concrete tiles and tree lined lot perfectly. The installers were as excited with the product as the boss and they completed the job quickly and efficiently. So, FabLab scores five stars from start to finish of the job.

The rail itself is anodized aluminum and the whole assembly clips together over stanchions that were screwed into our deck. This is not an inexpensive rail option, but it is a beautiful one that needs little maintenance. I have enclosed a picture so one is able to understand just how great this product.
